October 1st - 13th - Proboards will be down for maintenance. (This allows me to clean it all up and set up the new threads for the offseason)
October 14th - 27th - Open trading to get rosters legal. (15 contracts of 3,4,5 years) (When doing so keep in mind that you have to sign minors soon) (Remember anyone that finished the season on a 1yr contract cannot be traded as they are officially a free agent)(After this period trading will be closed once again until after RFA so make your moves now)
October 28th - November 3rd - Contract Extensions Due. (Anyone that finished the season on a 1yr contract is eligible to be extended) (They will receive a 1yr contract for the greater of 1x their real MLB contract or 2x their Franchise League contract)
November 4th - 10th - Sign Eligible Minor Leaguers (Any minor leaguer on your team that exceeded 400 at bats or 100 IP need to be signed to a contract or released. If you dont plan to sign an eligible minor offer him around during the open trading period. Maybe someone will be interested and you can get something for him)
November 11th-17th - Give me your list of RFA's (Anyone on a 1yr contract that is not your extension can be posted for RFA. New salary will be per the RFA rules. Please read the RFA rules if you are new or do not remember how it plays out) You may select up to 5 RFA's to post.
November 18th - December 1st - Will open trading once again for 2 weeks to allow us to get through the Thanksgiving Holiday.
December 2nd 10am EST - Restricted Free Agency Starts (Free Agency and trading will open when RFA ends)
January 6th - Minor League Draft begins
